Shasha Yoga is formed by Saturn in a horoscope and it is considered as one of the five yogas known as Panch MahaPurusha Yoga in Vedic Jyotish where the other 4 yogas of this group are Hamsa Yoga, Malavya Yoga, Ruchaka Yoga and Bhadra Yoga. According to the prevalent definition of Shasha Yoga, when Saturn is present in Kendra from Ascendant or Moon which means that when Saturn is placed in 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house from Ascendant or Moon, in any one of the signs Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius, Shasha Yoga is formed in the horoscope.
